The Malt House

"We recently stayed at the Malt House. The service was superb. Friendly welcoming owners and staff. The room was lovely and well equipped. I’d recommend eating in the restaurant. The food is delicious and great portion sizes. The steak especially, it was cooked to perfection. Bar has a lovely atmosphere. It is a great location for the castle (although closed when we visited) and great walks. Great base for exploring the beautiful Cotswold area. Highly recommend."

"Due to work commitments in the area, I only stayed one night. I found the staff welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable and much larger than expected. As i was due to leave before breakfast would be served, the staff prepared sandwiches which i could collect as I left in the morning."

"A definite must if visiting Berkeley. . Not on the main road, so a good night sleep 99% guaranteed. Rooms are homely and warming.. Food was amazing.A variety on menu.. Music in background to suit all. . A lovely local crowd of locals willing to help. A very well run Hotel."

"Great place, close to stores and a Berkeley Castle. Very friendly and helpful personnel. New windows, and good sound isolation from the street. Warm rooms, but there is a heater if needed. Food amazing!"
