"Very disappointing experience. Booked months in advance for the Christmas set menu and was chased multiple times to pre order which we did as a group of 8. When we arrived there were not enough seats, the staff were super busy. The three beers and coke we ordered took more than 40mins to arrive. Our starters were served 1 hr from sitting and our main was nowhere to be seen 1.5hrs into the sitting. We had to ask three times for water. The food when it did arrive was cold. We were told there was a new chef and the restaurant was super busy but there were only three tables upstairs and one downstairs. What is more disappointing is that a table of “celebrities” were next to us who got served upon arrival and food came out quickly. This morning I have also seen on social media this was “gifted”. The staff were amicable and whilst we offered to pay for drinks they said it was on the house. We actually asked to not have the main and cancelled the dessert. Such a shame as a lovely location and fun atmosphere. Will not be coming back any time soon."

"A lovely wine bar staffed by lovely people! They have a self-serve wine selection along with decent cocktail and champagne options. They also serve Signal IPA and Signal Lager on tap. My friend had some delicious chicken wings when we visited and I'm looking forward to visiting again for the £1.50 Oysters on Tuesdays."

"They have a champagne happy hour! Everyday until 9pm. Fantastic wine selection with a fun system to try and lovely tapas to boot. Handily positioned just opposite Balham tube/station."

"We'd been to Heidi before and really enjoyed the food (and wine), but first time having Sunday roast today and it was excellent!! Really tender and flavourful beef, pork was crunchy on top, melt in your mouth underneath. Yummy vegetables and potatoes were crispy. Plenty of food without any sides and great wine recommendations for roast meal as well. If I were to compare with other Sunday roasts around Balham, I would say better than Balham Bowl's club but the potatoes were not quite as perfect (to our liking) as the Bedford. Just watch out how much you spend tasting the different wines!"

"Amazing wine bar with great tapas style food. Highly recommend: pork belly, octopus, burrata. The wine machine is really interesting as well, they also have glass cooling machine. Price is about £35~40 per person, including drinks."
