"It's the first time i have eaten at this little Caribbean restaurant on Anerley Hill. I went there because I had passed the restaurant before and smelt wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen! So I made a point of visiting. And the food flavours did not disappoint! Freshly made authentic Caribbean food. Curried Goat, Oxtail, Rice n Peas, Festival Dumplings. This is a lovely little place that is worth supporting in the local area! They also do Deliveroo and Just Eat under the name Garvey's Caribbean! The only disappointment with this restaurant is the fact that they could do a little bit more to update the decor in the restaurant, which is a little shabby... If it weren't for the outdated decor, i would have given this place 5 Stars! But it did not stop me or my friend from enjoying our meal thoroughly! Plus the place was very clean, which is more important than pretty!!! Our waitress Marley was also great! Good service, friendly and not overbearing. Plus she was ready to give good advice about different dishes. We will definitely return to this lovely little place! Thanks Rivers!!!"

"I went yesterday with 2 friends from 5pm till close for drinks and food. The place is beautiful and the waiter lovely. However when I ordered the food to take home they forgot items and was a mistake. I have to wait for more than 30 minutes and outside because was after 10 even I ordered the takeaway before 9pm . The owner apologies and offered a discount to us but when was time to pay the waiter did not do any discount and she said she will put extras in the bag for us . But they did not put extras. We were good and patient costumers and we spend in lots of food and drinks . The owner should not offer discount and then do not apply it and the waiter should not say she will put extras when she did not . However the food was delicious ."

"Very experimental menu and comfortably busy every night. The food is very targeted to Jamaican taste and takes no prisoners being saffroned properly. The sound system is great for big parties and an interesting decoration all round."

"Very welcoming and friendly staff. Atmosphere just right with some reminiscing music. Had a smaller upstairs which was a nice touch, almost like a retreat. Food is on point. Would recommend to anyone all ages. I am now a regular customer."
