"Since we have visited the Coal shed in Brighton, we thought we would give the London one a try for a Valentine’s Day treat. The price was very reasonable comparing to other high end venues in London and the menu looked fantastic. The interior of the restaurant is really lovely and the staff is really welcoming. The service we received was friendly and warm. The food and drinks were served to us swiftly and everything we tried was very tasty. Definitely would visit again."

"Nice atmosphere and friendly staffs. The beef tartar tasted better than it looks. We ordered one kilogram of prime rib and asked to be cooked to medium rare. Unfortunately, it took a long time for the main to arrive. The prime rib was flavoursome but on the over cooked side. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45pm, when we placed our order only prime rib left to be chosen from. Wish there was more selection of cut available for us to try."

"Tried their Sunday Roast and liked it; succulent and tasty. The cheesy cauliflower and the horseradish were also very good. Staffs are accommodating and attentive. The Coal Shed restaurant got a nice ambiance in a lovely area around Tower Bridge. Available wine by the glasses were decent. I would love to go back again to try their other dishes."

"A very pleasant lunch stop on a very warm day. We sat outside and ate from the set menu (£20 for 2 courses, £24 for 3) I had the Trout Tartare for starter, which was lovely, although it lacked something, but I'm not sure what! My wife had the Caesar Salad which was excellent. We both had the Steak Burger which was very tasty and very filling. On this occasion we didn't have any pudding, but it would be nice to return to sample more of the menu. All the staff were professional, they seemed well trained and gave excellent service."

"Was ok for father day lunch but wouldn’t rush to go back. Service is very good and food is fine. Beef fillet was delicious and fish as well. Pleasantly surprised by starters too. But charging 3,5£ for a sauce when the steak already cost 30£ and you get a tiny pot of liquid (likely water) flavored with peppercorns. A tiny slice of chocolate tart straight from a box out of fridge and charging 8.5£ is not acceptable for that type of place. Good and affordable wine selection by the glass."
