"The best steak sandwich I’ve ever had and a really nice and friendly owner"
"It isn’t as good as a year ago. In Dec 2021, I had the steak with cheese (first picture) and the steak was sliced into thick pieces, done medium rare, with heaps of melted cheese. Score: 9/10 This time (Jan 2023), the steak has been replaced with meat that was so thin, even “medium rare” tasted like well done. This cheese was crispy thin, instead of thick and oozy. Score: 5/10 I was extremely disappointed, as I had made the trip down to Camden just to have this again. On the upside, the lady behind the counter was very nice. Hence an extra star."
"First things first, this place is great, the food is delicious and its halal. The lady preparing the food was friendly, courteous and prepared the food very quickly considering how busy the stall and the general area was. It’s Camden Market area so you do pay a slight premium and the sandwich could have been a bit bigger but it tasted great, generous amounts of steak in the sandwich and definitely hit the spot. Would definitely come back as want to try the steak on wedges."
