"We had some particular requests such as autumnal colours, wild looking and sustainable sourcing, however beyond that we really wanted someone with the knowledge and talent to bring that to life at our venue. "We don't know how to even start to express our love for what Mel prepared for our wedding! Everything looked absolutely INCREDIBLE! We really liked the idea that everything was locally grown and in keeping with the autumn season that had had chosen to get married in. The bouquet, button holes and hair flowers were just absolutely beautiful. I had asked for a small simple bouquet as my dress was pattered and what Mel gave me was perfect. The venue decoration was so special, it really blew us away. All of our guests commented on the flowers and hanging decor, saying the place looked magical....what more could you ask for! She was great at communicating with us, open to any questions and reasonable pricing for an amazing service. We had literally no idea/concept about flowers, colour schemes or what we wanted to feature in our day. Mel was great helping us pull together a brainstorm of ideas which incorporated the kilt and dress colours. We wanted to bring autumn colours to a spring wedding which wasn't exactly a simple task! Aside from the off-season colours, Mel managed to incorporate our own sticks into the scheme and was overall a pleasure to work with, including running though any questions I had (even on the day of the wedding).
