"Absolutely shocking company run by incompetent employees, you have to do all the phoning around chasing things in the event of an accident. A car sticker counts as a modification, they tell you things are modified without even looking at the car themselves then wriggle out of a claim after a month. I’ve Filed a lengthy report with the financial ombudsman. Judging by other reviews I’m unsure as to why they are still in business."
"Absolute rip off company. Was insured for 3 years with no claims, had to scrap the vehicle so called them to stop the insurance till i bought another car and they said i had to pay 50 quid cancellation fee! After 3 years, never missing a payment and no claims My advice to anyone would NEVER get involved with this company, they even threatened me with a collection company after 7 days God only knows what they would be like if there was an accident!"
"Absolute thieves. First they auto renewed my policy at £30 more than they were charging me for the same cover on go compare. That I wasn't happy about but could be bothered with the trouble of moving. Then when I do decide to cancel the day before my monthly payment is due (same day cover started). They want to charge me £50 cancellation charge which is fair enough, but they also want another £52 for cover I've already paid for."
"After my car was scraped in the street, these guys did an outstanding job handling a total loss claim (as the underwriter for Lloyds Insurance). Initially I had high anxiety as the person who hit my car was refusing to give his full details and wanted to settle in cash so we all felt suspicious of an uninsured driver. Ageas team advised me at every step of the process, yet still allowed me full autonomy over my decision. The process was seamless, you upload photos to a portal and every time you call there's an immediate text message and/or email with a confirmation of the step you agreed. Probably the best use of digital technology I've seen in years. Full payment was in my account within 16 days, which would have been ever faster had I not taken time to make my decision. Highly accessible process and friendly operators."
