"Awful customer service...website keeps crashing..... cannot take payments...cannot make changes to policy as the site doesnt seem to like this....when try to pay by phone its a very long wait as they're experiencing a high number if calls right now.... They spend all the time trying to push you onto the website.... and when it doesn't work they cannot be bothered to give the customer a good telephone service as an alternative. Try employing more humans. I only hope I don't have to make a claim... I can only imagine what a bad experience that would be."
"Awful company who ignore emails/calls etc when it doesn't suit them. My car was stolen and involved in a theft in October 2022 - police found it abandoned back in Bournemouth with items missing. I put in an immediate claim of lost items with AXA (Swift) which was acknowledged. Since then Nothing has been done about this claim and I have just opened an email saying they will look into it within 30 days! This is Jan 2023. I had a call last week from them on the back of a survey I filled out and was told "Apologies, I can see all your correspondence/emails etc but noone has acted on them". I have paid them monthly for years yet now they haven't done what has been paid for. Disgraceful handling of this, lack of communication, police involvement didn't shake them up.. I'm now being fobbed off for even more time. This company is truly awful and Incompetent and I am at a financial loss because of them."
"if I could put 0 stars I would. I am a new driver and have only been driving since January, I used AXA as my insurance company as they were the cheapest at the time. I have had nothing but awful customer service from them. I had an accident on 26th June this year, rung them up the following day to report the claim as they was closed by the time the accident happened. The claim is still ongoing and its been nearly 6 months, Had my car repaired in August and was given a courtesy car which I had for 4 weeks. The total amount of my repair cost was £1500.00, my excess was waived due to the fact that the accident was not my fault and someone hit me from behind. My claim has been left in there hands, and I have had NO communication from them whatsoever, I am constantly writing complaint emails which they take at least 2 months to reply to, I am constantly ringing them and being left on hold for over 1 hour and 30 minutes before it cuts off. My no claims has been affected due to the fact that I made the claim, so now I have zero no claims which my insurance has now gone through the roof. I have tried ringing them the last two days to find out if there's an update. In total I have been on hold for 5 hours, and only speaking to someone once. I will never be using them ever again and I certainly will not be recommending them to any family / friends. Absolutely disgraceful how they treat there customers who pay a lot of money to be insured with them. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"
"I was with AXA for 1 year and in that space, I had 3 accidents all in June 2021. Just my luck! The customer service was amazing every time I called them they were helpful and I felt that they were with me every step of the way. Their accident report forms are so easy to fill out and uploading evidence was so easy. Definitely a gem car insurance."
"RUN FOR THE HILLS Literally a nightmare company, I'm beginning to think that they have gone under and are stringing their clients along. We contacted them IN APRIL about a claim that has hitherto remained unpaid, as my partner and I are now being threatened by collections by the insurance company. They said they paid on August 10,but money never arrived. We called them about it and they saw that their finance department had put a hold on the payment but didn't bother to say why or tell them. We arranged for payment once again, which they said they did on September 15. Well guess what, that has not been received. The amount of admin and chasing has left us exhausted and wonder what the eff AXA is actually offering as a service to their clients. You can look forward to months of repeated unanswered emails, wild promises on phone calls, and ~ apparently ~ being sent to collections for their incompetence. How they landed a deal with monzo is beyond me."
