"Lovely park to visit at any time of the year - even on a crisp, bright Autumn day it was nice to see the changing colour of the leaves on the tree and watch birds trying to fatten up before Winter bites. Even spotted a wren flitting around the shrubs. No surprise that this park has won awards for being among Scotland's best !"
"This was a great experience being there with the grandkids. The young kids play area was very secure with sufficient scope to keep them entertained. As for the model steam train, that was the hit if the day. For a pound you go round the track 3 times and the kids absolutely loved it."
"Brilliant park this. There is a great kids play park for older kids and also a great one for the wee ones. Had hours of fun here. The miniature railway really is brilliant. The folk who run it are fantastic. Only £1 per person aswell and they even accept card! The boats are great (£3.80 a boat) although the ticket office here doesn’t accept card so make sure you have cash! The wee cafe is lovely too!"
"Fantastic park, the wee train went down a treat, tea and cake in the Barrie shelter, dog friendly too. The guy came over with water for our dog and made a huge fuss of him. The guy was so helpful to some elderly women carrying her tea n cake over and was Lso helpful to a young mum with 3small kids."
"Always enjoy visiting here. Although I have to comment that the bouncy castle wasn't well supervised. Would have been better with age restrictions as older children were to boisterous for the toddlers I had with me. So it was a short play time for us before there was an accident!!."
