Reviews
"One of the all time great Lidls, I’m going to say food wise it beats Aldi, especially the special / regional selections, but doesn’t quite hold its own against its German rival on the wine stakes, and actual steaks for that matter. Often up to 2 tills open at once, friendly staff."
"My husband and I have been treated very unprofessionally tonight by two members of staff (Shift Manager Abu and his Manager Alex). My husband wanted to buy a bottle of prosecco but didn't have his ID. I offered to buy it (I was on a different tilt because we were each buying something for... surprisingly, our anniversary tonight...). They have both made assumptions based on our appearance and even dismissed the idea that we are married, even though we politely offered to show them our marriage certificate. It has been very embarrassing and frustrating. I understand they were doing their job and assumed we were trying to buy alcohol illegally, but by indulging themselves in being biased and judgemental, they have offended us. Customer service acknowledged that the situation could have been treated differently, but no actions are going to be taken other than passing over the feedback."
"An excellent range of vegetables and fruit all of good quality. They have a large selection of savory products and a good stock of meat, poultry and fish. All well displayed. The festive sweet products are varied and tempting. Good range of cleaning products and personal hygiene. Found everything I needed."
"The brand's there aren't that nice no wonder they are cheap plus we still need a proper supermarket as they don't sell no where near what we need, so no point in wasting petrol going to places like lidl or Aldi, may as well get it all under 1 roof like Tesco or Asda"
"Good selection and layout Unfortunately some of the price hikes in Lidl are ridiculous but that's a sign of the times I guess Most people including staff adhering to new covid regs"
