Co-op Food - Larkhall - St Saviours Road

"Shelves were a bit empty after a busy Saturday, I was there late afternoon. However staff were doing their best to top up the stock. Well laid out store and good selections."

"I have been using the Larkhall Coop for nine years, suits me fine; good products, and exceptional staff. Going in last week after the refurb was one of the worst shopping experiences I can remember - Larkhall is a lovely friendly community, it is NOT a motorway service station. Only two personal service stations but half a dozen do-it-yourself machines, which half the time don't work properly and the horrible noise of "Please scan you next item" screeching all round the shop the moment you get through the door - Argh! Sadly you bosses in Head Office know nothing - this is not progress! I doubt I shall be going there again. It'll have to be McCall's - God forbid!!"

"I like the co-op, but recently have found that the quality of certain fruit wasn't good, I can't get everything I want in there and you often have to queue for ages at the tills. However it is convenient and some of the food is v good value - 2 whole chickens for £7 and they have a decent selection of beers and wines. Its easy to park and is one of the better co-ops I'll continue shopping there, but not as my main shop."

"Staff are always friendly here and queues are well managed. Reasonably well stocked but so many items in fridges with sliding doors it can be difficult to see products/prices. Freezer section could be a lot better in a store this size. Great wine selection."
