Reviews
"Went there today to pick up vegs after work...1 red pepper, a pack of cherry tomatoes and 1 cucumber cost me £5.27. Never again!"
"Every time I go here I always see a huge collection of rubbish submerging out of their bins and spilling all over the floors and pathways below. From broken glass, mice everywhere all over the floors foxes making the situation worse. I just wish this place would do something about their bins and that contributes to the hygiene"
"Old fashioned green grocer with much more variety than you’ll find even in a biggish supermarket. A bit more expensive but less pointless plastic packaging and ability to buy by weight. Good selection of Middle Eastern / North African groceries as well, including stuff which isn’t always easy to find like labneh, moghrabiyeh, molokhiya, makdous, pink pickled turnips and much more."
"I always liked this place because it's so close to my workplace and you can get fresh figs. However, I recently bought a magic bag worth £3.60 and when I got home and looked in it I discovered that so much of it was already mouldy. I had to throw the entire contents straight into my compost, apart from one small bag of sweet peppers. So I wouldn't advise purchasing a magic bag, and I can see from another review that someone had a similar experience. I think maybe if that is the feedback you are getting you shouldn't be doing them? Nonetheless, I do really appreciate having this so close to my workplace and being able to get fresh fruit and veg not packaged in loads of plastic. Most of the time it's pretty good."
