Reviews
"I travelled to this shop as it clearly states on a review that they done piercings. Was told no, no explanation of why. The girl was quite helpful but the guy told me ‘google maps it’ Pretty rude. And given I had actually used ‘google maps’ and come across their shop… a little annoying! Went along to another shop and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I don’t understand people that work in a customer facing role if you can’t be arsed with customers!"
"Highly recommend. Great place, great people, great shop dog (aye Chino)! I walked in on a Monday afternoon and Sophia couldn’t have been nicer. She helped me get sorted immediately. Fae took care of business quickly and with a deft touch. Thanks for the memory."
"Couldn't recommend this studio enough. Everyone was lovely and welcoming, and you don't feel out of place at all! Fae did an amazing job with my tattoos, I've already booked another session!"
"After the tattoo has healed, you can see only mistakes in making a small pattern (heart on a finger) It is crooked, not connected, on the one hand as if there was no ink and on the other too much. I know very well that tattoos on fingers smudge but this one is a week after healing and it looks like it has been tattooed for a year. Overall a failure for me, maybe they can tattoo large projects but they can't handle small, easy designs."
"Travelled from Aberdeen to get a small piece done here, I can’t express how disappointed I am. Upon arriving the tattoo artist was over an hour late, at no point did she advise she was going to be late or check in and see if I had the extra time to spare. Once taken in I found the process quite rushed, the artist had placed the stencil on my skin however she was copying another one she had just placed on the tattoo bed, she was looking over her shoulder copying it onto my skin. At this point I had realised the artist (Sofia) was working a lot differently compared to the artists I had used in the past, once the tattoo was finished she had done some little touch ups for bits I wasn’t happy with - however it wasn’t any better. Straight after leaving the studio, not even 5 minutes later I decided to go back and express this wasn’t what I had asked for, the shutters were already down for the studio. I contacted her the next morning and she had said she would get myself back in once it’s healed. In the meantime I had consultations with several leading artists in the UK, not a single one of them has said they’re willing to re-work it due to it being so dark and messy. the dog is missing eyes, half of the right leg is missing, my partner’s face is distorted, one side of the dog is darker than the other etc.. I was advised either laser removal or a coverup of my whole rib cage at this rate, I contacted Sofia again in hope she would at least offer a refund to cover a partial amount of the laser removal cost or offer a different artist to cover up. I will attach the photos of the stencil and the reference photo alongside the tattoo so the differences can be seen, the stencil would’ve been perfect - things were a lot more even then. * in response to the studios reply InkDependent Tattoo I was not told Sofia ran late at any point. Myself and Sofia both agreed to not have the tattoo realistic, at no point did I ask for my dogs legs to be done un-evenly, miss out on simple details such as eyes etc. I took the appointment I was offered by yourselves, at no point did I rush Sofia and I also never said I was happy, I had raised concerns at the end of the appointment as mentioned previously. My manner did not change in the slightest, I have already mentioned I was advised by several artists to not go back as there’s not much that can be done now apart from the cover-up. I’d also like to mention the tattoo that I had previously was a tiny one from a holiday that was already half faded, it wasn’t exactly a big cover up. At the end of the day I came to yourselves seeking a professional opinion, you guys agreed the photo would be a nice simple tattoo, the tattoo didn’t match the stencil. Thanks for your time"
