I called yesterday and booked a car for 10am but did not receive the usual text to confirm the booking, so called back this morning to reconfirm it had been booked. I am a regular customer and wanted to support a local business (as I have done for several years) just as I was getting ready to leave I received a message from my dad to say he had a funny turn and was being taken away for tests on his heart and that I couldn’t come up. I called the cab office to explain and they told me the driver was outside. I went to explain to the driver who understood the situation but then the office called him and I heard EVERY WORD basically slagging me to the driver and saying I was messing them around. I showed the driver the message on my phone that had come in two minutes previously as I felt I had to justify myself and then called the station back to explain I had heard. He was rude, arrogant and not empathetic at all. Unfortunately you have just lost a regular customer. I will not be using again."
