"I would give it 10000 stars if i could . Shaheen just won my complex asylum case . I've been granted refugees status 2 years after i made an application with no need to appeal . The whole process was smooth , shaheen was in constant communication with me even though at that time it was stressful and hectic . He took all the anxiety away and the way he structured my claim was incredible. I would and have already recommended shaheen to few people and i will certainly go back to him when its time to make an apication for indefinite leave to remain . Shaheen has excellent communication skills he would adapt his style to suit any audience , i didn't know anything about complex immigration laws but shaheen made it sound really clear and he's always done his best to explain the next steps. Finally i would recommend shaheen /black antelope law to anyone with immigration matters and would take this opportunity to thank him again for supporting me since day ione through thick and thin . "I rarely leave negative feedback. Initially I thought this firm would be understanding of how serious my situation was and how poor my health was but it seemed to make little difference to them. As a disabled and vulnerable person in a life threatening situation you'd think they would try a little harder than they did. Their communication was very poor and they took so long to get anything done that I had to repeat submissions and by the time the required action was finally taken it was pretty much too late. I do not recommend this firm. *Addition* After reading BALaws response I stand by my original review and in response I feel it is irresponsible of them to broadcast to all that: "You lost your legal funding for your matter at an early stage and this limited the work we could do. In the end, we carried out work pro bono in order to get you the result that you were after us to because we were sympathetic to your circumstances". 1. You didn't tell me you had done this work pro bono. Please supply a copy of the email that states this. 2. This doesn't explain why you ignored so many emails and phone calls and I had to get my Social Worker involved just to get a response on more than one occasion. 3. This doesn't explain why it took almost one and a half years to get quite a simple matter dealt with regardless of my financial status. I stand by my original review."
