Flexi clean Group

"Really poor customer services and very expensive. I would avoid if you have any alternatives. I was liaising with MDC/ Flexi Clean Group for an end of tenancy/ post refurbishment clean on a 2 bed tenement flat. We discussed booking in the clean for 2 days later and arranged a time for him to pick up keys. A person from MDC came to check out the flat to quote and came back with a figure of £380, excluding windows (with a fridge clean costing £35 and a microwave clean costing £19) and required the full amount being paid upfront. The flat is partially brand new (new kitchen/ new bathroom) so not dirty, but dusty from construction works. I questioned this figure (and asked for hourly rates that were never given) as it was very high and asked that (a) window cleaning (inside) was included and (b) that I pay half upfront, half on satisfactory clean. The person went on radio silence, missed the pick up time for the keys and then later said that they couldn't clean on the basis of my proposal. To abandon the pick-up of keys and arrangement of a clean without liaising and coming to some kind of agreement on the quote is really poor service. I’ve been left without a clean when originally arranged and needed (tenants were moving in). I have never come across a cleaning company (or any other kind of services company) requiring 100% of fees upfront and am very surprised that you get enough customers willing to pay this. The fees quoted were very expensive given the condition of the flat, so its unsurprising that I questioned them and certainly didn't want to pay 100% upfront. Only minor plus point of this company are their reception staff who are polite and try to be helpful."

"If their cleaners are as obnoxious as their drivers, avoid. Driving in Edinburgh today, saw driver of van OY10 CGU (around 12.15 26th June) do around 3 dodgy manoeuvres - cut into lane, ran a red light, then didn't give way, just pulled out, at a roundabout. Either they can't drive or have no idea about rules but either way poor advert for company!"

This has been going for around 1 ½ years and I can only commend the work done by Anders and his team. They work hard all day and ensure job is done right and when they leave you can see the difference so I will definitely be keeping this running. It is great that it is always same team as they know the factory and know what needs done and can now do this with very little input from us. "I've had a great cleaner and communication with the agency - I recommend Klaudia from the office. However cleaner has made a mistake (she locked me inside my home after I closed the door behind her), I had to pay £72 to a locksmith and agency didn't want to reimburse me. They said I should have called them - I did but they close as my cleaner is leaving and I was never given her details. I've chosen the most expensive agency hoping for best service, but the way they've handled this situation has been disappointing. Also when I came home earlier the cleaner was 90% done, Skyping with her friend. I think they've been charging me for an extra hour when it took less time to do the job."
