Reviews of Avon Lagoon
"A simply lovely place to walk. Wild and wonderful. Apparently great for swimming, too."
"In my opinion a good walk lovely and quiet most times totally recommend it to anyone who hasn’t been"
"From the car park theres a nice field with paths of short grass ideal for walking the dog. Once at the corner closest to the lagoon there's a sign that indicates what way the path is but I think going the other way is the correct way to get direct to the lagoon. We followed the sign and felt very off the regular path, we had to jump fallen trees and seen an uncovered manhole but did eventually get to the wooden walkway shown in the picture which led to the river and we followed it to the lagoon. We were there on 2nd Jan but did see some people doing the new year cold water dip!"
"Short 20 minute walk from the car park to the lagoon. Nicely tucked away through a fairly wild winding trail. Direct openings to the lagoon are small"
"Lovely outdoor place to go everyone was having so much fun a little hideaway place which was fun to find"
