"I have been extremely disappointed with my experience with Lennons. I have used them for conveyancing services as part of the purchase of my home. They first give you an estimate of their fees and explain they would stick to this fee unless the matter proves to be more difficult than planned in which case they would revise the fee with some notice. This seemed to be quite fair to me at the time. When I had to pull out from the sale during the searches process , I was surprised to receive the Lennons abortive invoice was for full price of the estimate when we were only half way in the process. They explained to me they had already spent all the time allocated by the time i pulled out which explains why they had charged the full estimate. When you take a closer look at their T&C's you realise that their final fee is based on the actual time spent working on the case when they make you think they work on a lumpsum fee. Please think twice before signing up with them as it could end up very expensive for you !! Apart from this bad invoicing experience, i have not been particularly impressed by the level of service provided to me. The solicitor in charge of my case was creating more problems than was trying to find solutions which is probably why the sale ending up falling through... On a positive note , it was always very easy to get in touch with the solicitor. They would always take phone calls or they would call you back if they had miss your call. Thinking about it they would probably do so as they knew they would be charging you for every piece of communication on the phone with you. Again think twice before going ahead with them!!"
