"Visited on a Sunday to try the roast dinner. One of the best meals I’ve eaten in a long, long time. The food was sublime. Beautifully cooked meat and the accompaniments were all outstanding. The service was faultless. Live music added an unexpected magical atmosphere. The interior design was homely yet sophisticated. A perfect meal and I wouldn’t hesitate on recommending"
"This is a Glasgow restaurant serving Scottish food with a slight twist. I had the seabass which was cooked to perfection. No easy task. My wife had the venison, and the gravy was superb. An excellent cocktail menu finished off the meal just nicely."
"We were here on a Friday night for dinner. The food was lovely. I really liked my picks in particular. My burger was excellent. Really well cooked and tasty. My only wish was that I could have had my wife's chips from her Fish & Chips. They were absolutely delicious - some of the best I've had. One thing the salt grinder on our table was empty as were the ones on the tables beside us. Service was very hit and miss. Greeted promptly and shown our table. The food came in good time however once we finished the main course the plates sat in front of us for a good 20 minutes. The staff took orders and did things like got glasses for people either side of us so it's not like they didn't see. In the end we just asked for the bill as we got annoyed that the plates were not cleared and never asked if we wanted dessert. It was my wife's 40th birthday meal so a disappointing end to our visit. The food was great, service lacking."
"We have been going there regularly since opened. Good is outstanding. Place is quirky and cosy. It’s good for a quick pint or full dinner! Staff can’t do enough and service is outstanding. Cocktails are great my fav is bramble! Also make sure you order trifle for dessert it’s out of this world!"
