"Attended the "I am because" exhibition by Gavin Hickford today. A stunning array of emotive and personal works on display ranging from paintings to drawings to resin works and more. It really is worth a visit! Opening times are 10am - 3pm, 7 days a week. Exhibition is on from 9th to 20th May 2022."
"I joined Delta's art class a couple of years ago when recovering from severe depression. the atmosphere was very supportive, combined with expert artistic advice. The tone is very relaxed and informal. If you want help you'll get and be free to do your own thing if that's what you want. Lots of materials and equipment and a wide range of folk from teens to eighties There's a wide range of ability too. Some are preparing folios for art school, others sell their work. Most of us just have a great time. There's an exhibition twice a year so that can be a focus and it's great fun to see your work up on the wall. My wife goes to the jewelry class on her day off."
