"Great service with friendly staff, good value for money, wouldn't go anywhere else"
"Took my car here for its M.O.T phoned me with a price for things needed to pass the mot... (which were expected) all done when agreed... job done!"
"Always honest an helpful. Used many times for tyres, servicing for myself & family."
"Very Very disheartened. I am hoping a higher up could contact me and rectify the situation, but until then, here's the reason for a 1 star. I took my car in one morning for a major service (£189.99). They called me and told me that a Turbo Injector Seal had been ruptured or split and was leaking, so they'd leave off anything to do with the turbo injector etc and just do everything else. No discount for that but that's not a big deal, my fault for having a leaking Turbo Injector. They finished up the service pretty quick, within an hour or so which I thought was very efficient, but also weirdly fast. They tell me my rear passenger wheel is very worn and may need replacing ASAP. I book into a garage nearer to home for 2 back tyre replacements. 2 days later I take my car in to get the tyres done, they call me and tell me I have a completely broken coil spring on the rear driver side. They also tell me my front brake pads are completely worn down and very dangerous to be driving with, as well as the discs themselves having corrosion meaning I'd need new pads and discs ASAP and especially a new coil spring pair on the back. I figured these guys were trying to milk money so I went in and looked myself and they showed me the problems clear as day. I booked the car in at another garage for the brake pads and discs replacement and coil springs repairs, which that garage I had double verify that they were very bad and not good to be driving with before booking anything in. So how does my car go through a MAJOR service at Tyres Direct UK, and no one notices a fully broken Coil Spring at the back, which COULD have happened in the 2 days between me taking it from them and going to get tyres done, maybe, but also not notice my fully worn and dangerous brake pads/discs? It makes me worry what else didn't they check? Usually after a major service I'd wanna feel very comfortable knowing I'm driving a car that's been checked, serviced and maintained for a good while, but at the moment I don't know what else they shortcutted or what else they missed out on if they missed those two issues? I called the garage and the guy said "oh that's weird, bring it in and we'll have another look at it, not sure how they would have overlooked that". Far too casual about the fact that I left with dangerous brake pads and discs? No offer of a refund/partial refund, or another service perhaps more detailed, nothing. I'm feeling like I now have to book my car in for another major service elsewhere costing even more money because I can't trust that Tyres Direct even did anything at all bar a quick once over if they could miss such major defects. I asked on the phone if they kept a list of checklist or written proof of what checks were done/signed off on on the service and they said no."
