"So so bad...not recommend at all,my son constantly complains.Avoid if you can."
"Avoid like Covid...it is an appallingly run school. It should be in ‘special measures’ and Ofsted really ought to inspect this dreadful place. On all levels, it has failed to meet the needs of my child and by talking to others it seems that children are being failed in many ways especially the children who require extra support. It's a disgrace, no wonder the head is jumping ship after running it down to the ground! I hope that the other parents who feel the same way about it filled in the parent survey as well as making Ofsted aware. I would not even give ONE star... "I went to Chalfonts from year 7-11. I was heavily bullied, when I turned to staff to help, they were the least bit comforting and shrugged the issues off. The bullying was also present in the teaching staff - one food tech teacher used to fat shame students in her class and I vividly remember her making a student cry and then proceeded to tell the class to laugh at her, saying she was ‘pathetic’. It’s safe to say the poor standard of teaching paired with the abusive bullying, I did not fulfil my potential. In fact, from year 7, I was told that I was not capable of passing any exams, and was immediately placed into the lowest sets, and barely passed my GCSE's. Once I moved schools to pursue my A-Levels, I was exposed to better teachers who gave me the time of day, and from that achieved A*A*A, for the first time in my life. No thanks to Chalfonts!"
"lol this school is terrible- To add to my previous review I would just like to say after spending 5 years at this school, I would not recommend it most of the people are snakes and don't care about each other at all. The food is not great, most of the teachers can't control the class and don't teach you properly. Don't get me wrong some of the teachers are really good including the vice principal but most of them don't care about the students. As for their zero tolerance bullying all they do is get you to fill in a statement and they then think the situation is dealt with. Once a teacher made me and my friend late and we missed our bus and had to wait outside the school to get a parent to pick us up, they wouldn't let us back into college. I was in year 7 at the time. Overall I wouldn't recommend this school unless it has changed in the last year...."
"Do not send your child to this school. They claim they’re “Zero Tolerance” on bullying but that is not the case. My brother gets bullied on a daily basis, yet he gets put on report and disciplined whereas the bullies don’t and the school continue to allow poor behaviour by its students. I would say only about 5% of the students that come out that school succeed but even then they’re better off going to an excellent school with great opportunities rather than a “good and improving” school as it says on the OFSTED banner outside the gates. They also don’t care for their students mental health either. Reduce the amount of students you have or better yet, the council just need to close the school down because the teachers are horrifying, extra curricular activities are near enough non existent and it’s just an eye-sore that spew out foul mouthed spawns of Satan."
