"These 1 to 1 classes are such a quick and easy way to learn to enjoy the water, gain confidence and swim at your own pace. No pressure to do anything if you’re not feeling comfortable. My instructor Paul is patient, funny and understands that we all have different ways of feeling nervous but will make you feel quite empowered with your progress so you want to keep coming back to get better. The warm pool is great as you don’t feel the shock of cold water and want to jump out again and with no deep end if you feel nervous you still know you won’t drown as you just stand up. I would seriously recommend as you can be swimming in weeks."
"My daughter has been training with Paul and I too had some adult lessons. Paul's consistency professionalism patience and focus is second to none. He has been so skilled in engaging my daughter in such a way that she's learnt so much.. Feels confident in the water and looks foward to her swimming lesson weekly. The pool is clean and very well maintained overall Paul is a fantastic teacher, his temperament skill and motivation will inspire any new learner. This is a very well valued swimming school.. After trying a few in the area prior i am so pleased we are settled here. Thank you"
"Paul, Theo and the team are great instructors. My 6 year old daughter has been learning with Theo now for over a year, he has built not just her swimming skills but her self confidence. He is kind whilst pushing her to keep progressing and get over her fears. Highly recommended."
"I booked 10 lessons with this swimming company. I had an overall pleasant experience learning how to swim with this group. From my initial contact with Paul in regards to getting information on what the swimming course contains, to how it was structured; Paul was very helpful and efficient in breaking down what I needed to know and booking lessons in a timely manner whenever I wanted to book a lesson. With the lessons separately, I was taught by Theo. Theo is very patient and understanding with what level of swimming I was at and where I needed to go. Theo would take the time to break down the different strokes in to different parts to focus on each aspect, before then putting everything back together to get a clearer understanding of how each stroke worked. I am quite happy with my experience as I can now swim to a fairly competent level and will still practice in the future to get better. I would recommend for beginners who want to learn how to swim to a fairly competent level or those who prefer not to be in a group class and want to progress quickly in swimming capabilities to a standard level."
"I cannot speak too highly of Swimming Lessons London’s teaching techniques and teacher Theo in particular. I was past retirement age when I decided that I must overcome my long held fear of the water, and it was only a matter of a few lessons with Theo before I began to gain confidence. Theo was incredibly patient, helpful and encouraging and systematically worked on improving my capability, technique and stamina. It all goes to show that it’s never too late to start, no matter how old you are. Highly recommended for everyone."
