"Would highly recommend this wonderful pub, so cosy and welcoming. Dawn made my family and I (8 adults) very welcome. She kindly arranged for us to watch a football match on the tv, the table was set when we arrived, and we had a lovely meal and evening. We popped in again the following day and, again, we were made to feel very welcome. My family and I will definitely return when we are in the area again."

"All very nice but very expensive drinks. Visited last night and bought a pint of Thatchers Gold cider for £5.35. Very dear. Looking at my online receipt it was from the George opposite. So, you go into the village local and pay the price of the famous pub opposite? Probably too overpriced to visit."
"Spent a few hours at the Fleur de lys today with all our Grandchildren. Dawn was absolutely brilliant, so welcoming and agreed to us using the skittle alley. She also arranged a buffet tea for us all and the food was amazing. The children had a brilliant time. Thank you so much Dawn. We will be back."
