Reviews of The Bladuds Head
"Very nice pub. Good selection of drinks. And lovely staff."
"Update- New venture 2022 with Sunday roast. We had a veggie roast very nice. Definite recommend. Great local, lovely staff, bowling, darts, pool, sport TV oh and beers ciders and bar snacks. Cards taken as well as cash. Rolls £2 Events on regular. EDIT - JULY 2018 We had a family do at the Bladud, great night using the spacious rear area as well as the outside area in this lovely summer. The staff and locals were very welcoming and the buffet food laid on was generous and tasty. There was also a option of a BBQ if we wanted but decided on a buffet. We danced the night away, enjoyed the company and the drinks."
"We Went to this place for my Grandmother’s wake shortly after the funeral, everyone upset, trying to make the best out of a bad situation. Family decided to play some pool which was on free play at the time, a couple of games later one of the members of staff came in and turned off free on lay and said “this shouldn’t be free?” While everyone was in a somber mood the man’s tone seemed annoyed and out of place for a wake. After eating some of the buffet (which was cold and ghastly) we realised that one of our family member (who had just had a premature newborn baby) had a gluten intolerance and none of the food was suitable for her, so we decided to walk down the street to get some something suitable. When we returned we were met with rude staff members and terrible tones. We were told that “if she wanted to eat, she would have to eat in the street!”. Of course our family was devastated by the loss of our grandmother and absolutely disgusted by the staffs attitude we decided to stop ordering drinks and leave. The staff are rude and stuck up."
"Staff here thought it was okay to bully my partner, who 2 weeks prior went through a nasty c section and birth of our first child, because she is gluten intolerant and therefore couldn’t eat food they served for a wake. A certain member of staff also moaned about the pool table being used, chips from a takeaway up the road being bought into the pub, rudely demanded we get completely off the premises before consuming our food, despite spending a lot of money for hours prior to this. Very rude and unwelcoming staff, there are better options."
"Brilliant boozer. Great staff and service, regulars are all jovial, welcoming and have a good but of banter about them. Vast array of drinks with a fabulous, fresh pint of Guinness. Love sport and a pool table"
