"Lovely beer garden just off the river. Staff are friendly and the BBQ smelt amazing although we didn’t try it on this occasion. Was a busy day but plenty of seating in the shade. Toilets were a bit of a mess but it was a busy Saturday afternoon."

"A fabulous location, brimming with helpful and kind staff. I had the pleasure to visit last week and while I am not a huge drinker of cider, a helpful member of staff poured out little glasses for me to try, until I found a drink I loved. The Boater has a view of the street running down to Laura Place and a riverside view to die for. I'll be visiting again very soon!"
