"I've just completed the 12 week course Practical Acting and it was brilliant. Dan gave us the foundations of five big acting techniques and allowed us to tailor make our own acting toolbox. Invaluable even after three years of acting training."
"I found Dan’s page when I was looking for an acting coach to help me prepare for my acting school auditions. From the very first time I contacted him, I could see that he truly cares about his clients and takes a genuine interest in them. We had one-on-one zoom sessions for approximately five months. I had very little acting experience and didn’t know what to expect, but Dan truly made things very easy creating a safe and comfortable space to work in. He even went out of his way to make sure my speeches were ready for my auditions and helped me in numerous occasions when I needed guidance of some sort. Not only is he a magnificent actor and coach, but he is also a wonderful professional. As a coach, Dan has an outstanding capability to see the little mistakes that make all the difference while performing and how to correct them. His directions are clear and easy to take. He also takes the time to really get to know his trainees and their needs, so he can adjust to them. As a person, he is a lovely human being. He is an absolute ray of sunshine, and after every session you inevitably feel ten times better than you did at the start. I personally think that what makes Dan such a great coach, is that he is very professional without losing his “humanity”, which is something I feel many people can’t do. He shows you that you can truly rely on him. Overall, Dan is a 11/10 coach. I certainly know that I will recommend him to every person I ever meet who is looking for an acting coach. I hope I will be able to work with him again very soon."
"I’ve had four coaching sessions with Dan so far, two via Zoom and two in person. Dan is knowledgeable and I’ve also found him easy to connect with. Working with Dan has given the confidence and the excitement needed to bring my best version of myself to the table! I find after a session with Dan I feel like I’ve either learned a valued lesson and/or gain a new level of excitement for the journey ahead. He has a way of quickly coming to understand his pupil and how they work, therefore being able to tailor the experience. In my experience, he has really shown the perfect balance between pushing and challenging me to grow as an actor whilst taking actionable steps, one at a time. I’ll certainly be returning for another wave of lessons!"
"I've known Dan since I was a kid and have also, as a writer/director, have been fortunate enough to work with him on a number of productions. He is a truly wonderful and gifted actor. He has an experience, knowledge and commitment to his craft that surpasses many, if not all of his peers. He is an incredible teacher and has the ability to add to the toolkit of an actor at any stage of their career. Most importantly though, he is also a wonderful person and a joy to be around. He is always willing to go above and beyond both professionally and on a personal level; something that feels like it's becoming a rare quality, but is essential to development and success. I couldn't recommend these classes highly enough."
