Reviews of Bellahouston Academy
"Brilliant school, although it's probably changed alot since I left in 1976. I only wished that I had stuck to my Running more and hadn't started smoking. Loved the Relay Team!"
"Bella's a great school, highly recommend!"
"Its a great high school and im looking forward to go to it with my best friend im reccomending it to you."
"I attended Bellahouston Academy from 1954-1957 and my teacher was Mrs Macloud although am not certain of the correct spelling of her name.I really enjoyed my time there and held my teacher in great regard! In those days my father would give me a couple of pennies everyday to take the underground the 1 stop from Cessnock to Ibrox but I would keep it as I coveted the model soldiers in a toy shop en route to school and every few days would go in and use the train fair saved to by one! From the school playground you could often see players arriving at the football ground which pleased school friends but not me as I was,and to this day, am a Partick Thistle fan! I still have to this day a photo of the class of 1956 plus my original school cap!! Happy days!!"
