Reviews
"Huge queue, staff spent whole time having a lovely chat with one another and mainly ignoring customers. A couple of lovely ladies going in and out with cakes/clearing tables and chatting to those in the queue waiting. Hot drink was lovely- best Chai I’ve had in years, milkshakes not worth the money. Cakes average at best. Tonnes of staff but still didn’t seem to be able to keep up with demand. Both customers either side looked astonished at the lack of professionalism."
"Went their with my grandchildren and daughter and son in law we had one for one juice box, one kids hot chocolate and 4 lattes as drinks, 4 cakes and two tea cakes and it was £41 . Totally overpriced which is fine if the cakes were nice but the coffee and walnut cakes were dry and dense most of it we left . The tea cakes weren’t even toasted properly and the latte’s tasted like cheap coffee. Definitely won’t be going again."
"We had an absolutely amazing afternoon tea today. The food was incredible (we did need to box up a little to take home). The staff were fantastic and made the whole experience special."
"Lovely spacious cafe with loads of amazing sweet treats and cake options for a lovely indulgence. Plenty of Gluten Free options, perfect for my Coeliac wife. Always lovely to find a venue with good, inclusive menu options."
"Nice clean and open dining area. Good selection of cakes and scones. Nice coffee. Staff friendly and efficient. The only downsides were, there was only one tiny menu on counter past the tills, so you had to guess prices and what drinks they could do. They could certainly benifit from large wall mounted menu or even more smaller ones on the tables or at the start of the counter. Other customers in the queue can delay the whole service when they take ages to choose what they want to eat as its a self service system and you have to wait in line until you reach the till if you just want to order a drink."
