"My 11 year old son broke his arm in a hockey match at school on 22nd March 2021. I had incidentally just prior to the accident paid for private one to one lessons for my son the following summer term. Due to his injury he was unable to swim for the rest of that term as well as most of the following term. He has since needed 3 operations to correct this break which was not straightforward. I notified Elisa at Nautilus of this at the time of the accident. Now I am coming to pay for next term’s lessons in September, one would assume that the lessons would be credited moving forwards. To my shock and horror, I have been told that only half of these lessons will be credited so I am having to pay £300 to Nautilus as a punishment for my son having broken his arm and being told by the medical profession that he cannot swim. Being a parent means that you need to be prepared to take care of your child whatever happens. Nautilus being a school that teaches mainly children should understand that if a child breaks their arm, they cannot swim. Penalising families by charging them when these accidents occur is unacceptable!"
