"I can't believe I will complete a year at the same level while there is less than my level in the language. They sent them to a higher level. The teachers are changed every day and sometimes every few hours. If there is no place for new students, why do you receive them and make the old students wait? Please change this system loser"
"I was very lucky to have caring lecturers in this college. I was here for 2 years only. My maths teacher seemed intimidating but he was genuinely caring and a gentleman. My cramps were really bad, to the point I was finding it difficult to walk. The receptionist for student advisors did not take me seriously and gave me a very small pad. When I got back to class, I bursted out crying because of the pain, my maths teacher helped me down the stairs and called one of the advisors to help me. In terms of room change, it can be frustrating and extremely last minute, however I guess it was fine, my lessons weren't really affected by them. For the first time in my academic life, I passed with 100% here which speaks for itself in terms of the quality of teaching. I studied Civil engineering and was 1 of the 5 girls in my class, the other 15 being boys. It was a small class and people did drop out over time but the overall experience here wasn't too bad."
"Terrible school, DO NOT recommend this at all. Start of the year, because my daughter failed maths they decided she wasn’t good enough to be in any level higher than 1 (which is mostly for people who can’t even speak English, English is her first language). Beginning of the school year, they messed up the timetables/room numbers and teachers etc for weeks and never sorted it, she had come home and complained almost everyday about it and nothing was done. This alongside her anxiety made it worse, therefore she decided not to go in anymore as waiting outside classrooms for 20+ minutes with no sign of any teacher or updates by message to a new room was just tiring for her and a waste of time and travel money as we live far. She decided to work from home as long as she did the assignments and she has, she’s kept up to date and put good hard work and effort into her assignments, i emailed her tutor who didn’t seem to understand the reasoning for wanting to work at home (anxiety) and recommended a course called ‘fresh start’ where she can work at home but it’s not classed as a real A-level, it’s just “preparing to study” which I found ridiculous as this is a very popular and well-known college and they should have a work at home situation included in the course and should take mental health seriously as these are rough times in teenager’s lives. I then received an email stating that they are taking my daughter off the course as her attendance was too low for them to allow her to continue to study there even though she never missed out on any work, I’m disappointed as I thought a step up into college with older people and being treated like an adult would’ve been much easier to deal with, but they seem just as bad, if not worse than secondary schools. I wouldn’t recommend sending your child here or applying yourself (no matter your age) if you want to be taken seriously as a human being. The teachers are dopey and couldn’t care less about mental health, no matter how much they preach it. There are obviously some good teachers I should give credit for as they are not to blame for other higher status teachers’ actions. Also another thing you should keep in mind, one day my daughter came home from school and told me that one of the older male teachers made a gross comment about the girls in her class, saying that all women should cover up (headscarf) and that he likes that they do. Not only was this offensive to religion in general but disrespectful and discriminatory towards women. This has been my daughter’s only encounter with this type of behaviour as she doesn’t go in, but I’m sure he would’ve made more comments that she would’ve told me about if she knew. Do not go here, there are better schools out there!!!"
"Worst College ever there is no support from any lecturers even the managers only 1 out of 4 lecturers are teaching properly or making the teaching interesting for students. Hard to learn from them most of the time you have to do your own research as of they haven't taught you anything for your assignments and it will only be given a short amount of time to finish it. Heavily unorganised when it comes time and schedules. They only care about the numbers of students cause of the funding they will receive. They even let an appalling number of students who doesn't even qualify for the course. I've seen it from my course most of them are unqualified resorting to copying each others works and to my surprised even the exam was an open book one and even let you search on the internet whilst taking the exam. They only care about their fundings not to lose students that's why they will do whatever it takes to keep the student in place without learning a proper lessons. I'd say stay out of this college if you wanted to learn more on your studies. Recently OFSTED are observing around so they trying to act like they are responsible or act like they are doing something but once they are done being observed they return back into their chaotic & unorganised structure management again."
"The worst college ever. The IT head teacher didn't do anything to help students. During the study year she was always off. No help with any questions. Tutors were changing every second month. Exam marks were counted incorrectly for my son, he was trying to get help and sort this out, but the head teacher instead of helping, lied to him, and gave him a fake email address of the exams office, after we discovered that, she is not replying to my son's emails. With these wrongly marked exam marks, he didn't get the university he wanted. For students who want to study here, you will be left alone, just to let you know if you will need any help."
