Reviews of Inchcailloch
"Genuinely one of my favourite places I have ever visited. Spontaneously went during the week in the spring and it was beautiful. The boat ride to the island is very affordable and pleasant with nice commentary about the islands on the Loch. Remember to leave no trace and bring home everything that you take!"
"Absolutely stunning views, peaceful walk round the island and a small but rewarding walk."
"We took the Island Cruise from Luss, which landed us on thr Island after about 45mins, then spent a few hours exploring the woodland trails. The views from the summit trail are beautiful! We then caught the boat back to Luss a few hours later. Be sure to check the departure times or there is a chance that you may get stranded there, as the Island is uninhabited."
"It's beautiful when it's sunny. A place to relax after a long weekday of stress. You should ride a small ferry/boat from Balmaha for 10-15 minutes."
"Beautiful little island, well worth a stop to go visit the island and hike around. You can hike the whole island in a couple of hours. Glad we took the time to explore it. When we were there ferry was running hourly, it's a very short trip from Balmaha to Inchcailloch, only about 10 minutes ride."
