"I've used JJ Taxis a few times in the past mainly where I've travelled with my dog to vet appointments. Unfortunately today we missed our appointment as well as being targeted as a problem customer out of the blue for no justifiable reason. To provide a bit of background, our pooch has been particularly poorly over the last 2 weeks or so and has been back forth to the vets for appointments. I think we must have had at least 6-8 trips in that time. All without issue with any of the drivers. I called JJ Taxis this afternoon to book our latest trip to the vets in advance only to be told "we don't take dogs" by the call operative. I questioned why as if he looked at recent bookings we've never encountered any obstacle in the past. He then told me that's fine and proceeded in booking the journey. Confirmation text received to advise booked car as per usual. We then go to wait outside for the taxi. Shortly after the time our taxi was booked for I received a call advising the car would not be arriving as our pickup address had been blacklisted! I was told "your pet soiled in one of our taxis". "There was an altercation between one of our drivers and you refused to pay the cleaning bill". At this stage I'm in total shock as this is a complete and utter fabrication which has been spun as no such event occurred. I questioned what booking this was relating to? What date/time and who did the driver pickup? That's a pretty serious allegation and one they cannot evidence as it didn't happen. The call operative wasn't able to answer any of this as they nervously waffled on that it was either you or your partner or Mother.... They couldn't give me a straight answer. What I find absolutely astonishing here is that if the property was 'blacklisted' it would flag up surely before any booking was ever made. Also had I actually been guilty of an altercation in which my pet made any kind of mess why on earth would I then proceed in using the exact same taxi service again? It makes little sense. This company lie through their teeth. It's my belief that they were unable to fulfill services at peak time perhaps going for a more lucrative fares and as such invented a bogus story to give them an excuse to weasel their way out. I find this particularly disappointing given we are not new customers. I find how they have conducted themselves absolutely disgusting and they should be thoroughly ashamed. As a result my dog missed their appointment and we were not able to get their medication as planned. What an utterly shambolic and unprofessional manner in which to run a business - I am still in shock. I will ensure that everyone I know is aware to avoid JJ Taxis. The office staff/manager are nothing but unprofessional shysters. I have contacts in the media which I am considering forwarding my experience to. Our dog was in local news in the past which generated a fair amount of interest. I think people would be absolutely appalled to learn of our experience and how we were treated given as well I am a disabled pensioner and cannot walk long distances."

"Well we tried to use JJs and basically got let down. Got told first there wasn't a booking. Then we got told they phoned but they never then they waited outside for 10 minutes yet both my mother inlaw was looking out window with my daughter and my partner was standing outside waiting on the taxi"
