"Used them as our solicitors when buying a house. Would not recommend, the guy was on holiday a lot and took a while to get back to us. No real sense of urgency.i can live with that. They knew we were foreigner's and failed in their duty of care to inform us that you can claim certain things in Scotland when sold a place if they are not in working order. Yes I had to renovate the property but this could have potentially saved me a lot of money. At the very least they failed to disclose this information which was incompetence on their end. The only reason I knew about this was because when we sold the house the buyer tried to take the mick and claim stuff under this rule that fell outside of it and I had to research it. We had no mention of this from the firm which they really should have told us about considering we were paying them and all."
