"Cheap and cheerful. If you want a budget hotel for the night then this is right next to Charing cross station, well located for transport. Yes it's a bit old and faded but the staff were polite and the bed was clean. Had a quiet night's sleep so did me fine."
"In all fairness - for the price - reasonable. Good points - all of the staff ( except one ) were very nice. Chef at breakfast lovely. Bar man very helpful indeed. Lovely new pool table in the lounge. On the downside - rooms falling apart. Headboard fallen off. Glass shelf in bathroom hanging off. Room not very clean. Have to go to reception multiple times as key card kept deactivating. Lifts broken down for several hours meaning could not get to room. Somewhat shady people hanging around outside begging for money, cigarettes, food etc. Stayed 4 nights but moved to a better hotel as this hotel is just not relaxing. Really did not appreciate the loud banging on the room door at 10am with an angry shouting woman telling me to check out right away despite my being booked in for another night. Very disruptive attitude. Lap dancing club opposite not a problem. Bistro opposite delightful. A mixed bag of a hotel - i think hanging on by a thin piece of string. I think worth £38 per night based on my experience and based on other hotel prices in town."
"I stayed here for several months. Location and staff receive two stars. Most of the staff are great! Especially, Monica and Kate and some others—whose names I don’t know—who were kind, friendly and super helpful. 24/7 reception. Excellent location, many restaurants and shops nearby, right next to the train station. However, given how filthy the rooms are, you should absolutely at least have sanitizing wipes on hand. My allergies were consistently triggered by the furnishings and carpets in the room which trapped countless years worth of dirt and dust. Some days I was sneezing non-stop whenever in the room. I once found a condom wrapper under the bed and there are some white stains on the chairs so I would definitely cover the chairs with a blanket or something before sitting down, wear slippers when walking around in the room and avoid touching anything that you haven’t sanitized. In need of professional deep cleaning or even better, refurbishment. King size bed is super comfy though! I had housekeeping every week. Some times it was very good, most of the times it was ok and other times they didn’t even bother to touch the room or even change the already stained sheets and have the audacity to insist that they did. Seriously like I’m not blind! In other words, house keeping depends on how lucky you get. It is a 3 star hotel after all, so I wouldn’t have any high expectations."
"How this hotel is still running i have no clue. Shocking service from receptionists waited at least 30 min to get seen to the guy who i thinks name is paul didn’t give a monkeys and the attitude of the staff is beyond me. When i went to my room there was hairs on the bed tea left on the desk the bin wasn’t emptied, used towels, bathroom was black. Which clearly the room wasn’t tidied. I then asked reception for a new room which they gave and it was relatively OK The check in and out times are ridiculous never have i came across a 4pm check in and 10am check out. You’re best spending a bit more money on a hotel with good staff management and better reviews, if you want to be disappointed go here."
"Britannia Inn is about 15 minutes drive from the Glasgow Airport, it's beside scotrail and cannot be missed. The rooms are not so big, it's quite comfortable for one person but it might not be so comfortable for two people. The heater was so on point, the bathroom and toilet was really neat. The Staffs are quite friendly and helpful and there food is not bad. One can easily get a taxi or the receptionist will call one for you of going into town."
