"Fantastic location with a lovely comfortable room. We had a great welcome and will definitely return."
"Lovely host clean room loads of places to eat out close to train station"
"We booked four rooms in this place for two nights midweek, the accommodation is immaculate and has been finished to a very high standard. Jacqueline is so nice and looked after us so well during our stay, she really knows how to make guests feel welcome. The price of the rooms includes a continental, help yourself breakfast consisting of tea, coffee, cereals, yogurt, pan au chocolat, fruit etc, which was a nice touch. The area itself is very well served with a variety of high standard eateries to choose from so you won’t be short of options. We arrived by car and there is ample off road car parking available but if you wanted to leave the car at home you can catch a train from Giffnock train station that will get you into Glasgow city centre in 15 minutes which is very convenient. All in all this place was very good value and highly recommended."
"Giffnock B&B called us on Saturday around 7pm to cancel our confirmed booking (via booking.com) because they were overbooked for the weekend. We had no other choice than to immediately contact the Customer Service of booking.com to find an alternative. However, there was no alternative, all hotels in Glasgow and surroundings were completely sold-out. Around 23:30 our only choice was to sleep in a tent on a camping near the west highland way, 11 miles outside Glasgow, with no taxi willing to bring us so far at that hour. Finally, we arrived exhausted at the camping after midnight, with a cold night waiting for us. We tried several times to call the b&b without responds. They didn’t help us to find a solution, nor did they offer an alternative. We were basically left to sleep on the street. Although they have a very good rating on booking.com (above 9), people who see their reservation cancelled can’t review them. Both booking.com and the b&b handled this situation very badly."
"Wow, Jacqueline couldnt have been warmer and kinder to us, greeted with a lovely smile and shown to our fabulous family room with the most comfortable bed ever. Breakfast was continental and help yourself that suited us, an array of cereals, croissant and fresh fruit plus a fridge stocked with goodies. Her house was spotlessly clean, the rooms spacious and quiet and so perfect being just a 1 minute walk to the train staion that gets you into central Glasgow in just over 10 minutes. Couldnt be better. Thank you so much Jacqueline. 10 0ut 0f 10."
