"I have been going to this school for 3 years now and we have missed out on everything that the school promised would be fun about it. No sports day. No enrichment week(which is now 3 days). And no school trips. This school also is extremely outdated with the buildings looking like they will fall apart, textbooks outdated with some going back to the 1990's. The food portions are terrible and very overpriced. Everything that the school sells is very overpriced and bad quality. Some of the chicken that is sold is literally raw with pink bits seen everywhere. The teachers do not know how to engage in a proper conversation with a student and will end up shouting and punishing the whole class for the actions of 1 student. In my opinion the school prioritises their exam results in comparison with dartford grammar(the best school in the area) over the wellbeing of its own students. Being in this school is also very stressful."
"The school is very bad if i could give no stars I would. The stairs are rotting and look like they were taken from someone's grave. The school is dirty, and the computers look like they came from the 1980's. The people there are mediocre some are alright I guess. The school is big but they cannot afford proper classrooms. The only good thing is the computing chairs. The school is a hell hole and it looks older than Prince Phillip himself. Overall it would've been better if they stanned Loona and NCT."
"‘ Style over substance ‘ would be the best way to describe Wilmington Grammar school for boys. If I was a parent sending my son there I would think carefully; be under no illusions - if your son does not make the grade they will not be allowed to stay on for sixth form; if they don’t make the grade in their second year of sixth form they will be asked to leave. This of course is massively disruptive at a critical time in their education; it also knocks their confidence when they are forced to leave a school where they have spent five years and made good friends. Wilmington will take no responsibility for their students - they are more concerned with maintaining their overall exam results in a rather ruthless and desperate attempt to to keep up with Dartford grammar school for boys; widely recognised as the best grammar school in the area. Wilmington has always lived in their shadow."
"This school is OK, as long as you like rather scruffy environments. The teachers can be good (at times, it depends on their mood when they first meet you) however recent changes have left students confused, and without answers they still remain. The textbooks in some classes are EXTREMELY outdated, going from as far back as 1996 at one point, and the "Concequence" system is somewhat difficult for some parents to understand. Some kids are extremely "rough" and bad language is not looked upon too much. Again, some lessons are good, some are bad. Go ahead and test your luck. P.S: The only "fun" week at the school (Enrichment WEEK) has been reduced to 3 days. Hooray."
