Reviews of Brampton Manor Academy
"Poor silly rules. 1. 3 entrance and exits - still following which year using which exits, this is stupid, especially if you live right next to one entrance and you have to walk 15 minutes going round unsafe alleyways, duel carriageway, and the Greenway. 2. Dress code - why do students need to take their coats off in school, especially in winter time, they will leave the windows open as well for the so called COVID. But teachers are allowed to wear coats. 3. There was clip on ties which was safe and quick. Now students play with each others ties pulling it, which is dangerous and can cause suffocation. These are few of the things. But I can write a much longer list."
"Don't be deceived into thinking this school is good. It's really not. There is no help and, when something goes wrong you cannot get hold of anyone. You will leave messages no one will get back to you. But as soon as they want to contact you, they will for petty things. This school is not what it seems. Don't be fooled by those council and school reports. Look at the other negative reviews, they are true."
"I wish I could give Zero stars to this school/academy. Unfortunately, the cardinal reason for this institute's toxicity is principal of this school/academy who keeps taking racism so lightly that ultimately affects the pupil's personalities and school's overall image. Rather than digging out the actual cause of racism related incidents, the Principal keeps targeting the victim student and doesn't bother to excavate the facts, ultimately contributing to racism. A sincere suggestion to all the Asian students and their parents, stay away from this toxic place or you will experience racism sooner or later that would ultimately affect your child's mental health."
"This school cares more about its presentation rather than their own students regarding their education and wellbeing. Recently there is a situation about the length of girls' skirts which the school takes too seriously to to the point where the HEADTEACHER called some girls 'strippers' and that they should basically 'be naked' because their skirts are "too short". Girls are being sent home and denied education just because of this (including 6th formers). All of this just because one irrelevant person complained to the school about something that is not that deep. It's disgusting really. The school preaches to students about how they are against harassment yet do the exact thing they are supposedly against towards its students. Hypocritical and disgusting. The environment is so toxic as well. Do not go this school if you care about your well-being."
"I’m just sick to my stomach thinking of how this school treats certain issues. They allow boys to walk around, making girls feel uncomfortable while simultaneously doing so themselves with the way they enforce their dress code rules. The female students in the sixthform have already reported to the school, the way in which specific male students have made them uncomfortable in that space and the school has done nothing to take it further, allowing him to walk around the school, continuing to make them feel this way. A member of the public then makes a complaint about one of the (still mostly underaged) girl’s skirts and the school decides that this issue is far more important than the well-being of their students because they’ve decided to take that further and announce to their sixthformers that they will be looking intently for any girls who’s skirts are even slightly above the knee and will be sending them home. For a school that prides itself on its academic standards, they must obviously not care that much when it comes to girls. Do not send your child here unless you want them to feel as emotionally ignored and isolated as the current pupils are."
