"Ms Choppy is a hard nosed egoistic person who doesn't know how to smile. Her staff are all related to her one way or the other which should be investigated as it should be called Choppy & Sons Primary School. She needs to learn how to speak to people and greet them with respect. She is NOT above anyone as she likes to think. Use your manners then so will the kids!! ZERO STARS!!!"
"It is an amazing school. It really helped my child's education and made her maths, English, science and lots more improve."
"I have had children coming to this school for the past 8 years and during that time have watched the Head teacher take the school from strength to strength. The past two OFSTED inspections have given the school a rating of good. Salisbury run free English and maths classes for the parents and have regular parent coffee mornings where the parents are free to express their concerns (and praises) directly to the school governors. Very recently a parent group had a concern and the Head teacher, deputy and school governors held a short notice meeting to alleviate our concerns. There are several members of staff that have worked at the school the entire time my children have attended the school, they are testament to how happy staff at the school are. My children are happy and know who to talk to if they have a problem and the SATs results improve year on year. The senior leadership team are visual and can be seen in the playground before and after school. This includes the Head teacher and the deputy head, both very friendly which is evident from the number of children and parents greeting them each time I see them. I am always amazed by the amount of venom some of the reviews have and feel they do not give a true reflection of the school. I wish the contented parents would also add their views so that visitors to this site would get a truer reflection of how wonderful the school, staff and children are."
"This is the worst school ever! Do not bring your kids here because even the headteacher said to my mum not to come to this school and advised me to go to avenue primary school. Then when I left to Avenue, it was perfect I met a lot of friends and do not want to leave the teachers are really kind and deal with stuff a lot that makes you uncomfortable to make you feel right"
"I was a student here just two years ago, and I can say that the ‘Good’ judgement by Ofsted is an understatement of the school’s remarkable transformation - it continues to aid children in being able to develop skills they need for later life, as well as adequately sustaining the education and future of their students through effective teaching and a relentless pursuit of achievement throughout the institution. I say this from experience. It has thrived further since I have moved on to secondary education - once again, I say this from experience."
