"nice school but teacher makes fun of my forehead they played naughts nd crosses on it with a permanent marker"
"Stratford School Academy is a really good school. Teachers and SLT try their very best to ensure that children are kept safe and well behaved in school and have strict policies in place with PREP and back on track. I really can't fault this school ."
"I was just Googling my old secondary school , class of 00-06. Many moons since I've finished school. My 5 star rating may be heavily influenced by nostalgia and memories, but also because school days truly are some of the best times of your life. Not because of the fancy dinner halls, or the state of the art gym facilities and what have you. But the teachers and students that create those memories, good and bad ones alike. The school has advanced tenfold since I've left, in terms of facilities, I can't comment on the teaching. But reading all the 1* reviews it seems more and more snowflakes are attending this academy and still leaving as snowflakes. Bunch of whining softies, if your teacher gives you a hard time deal with it. It builds character."
"Been here since year 7, the school was terrible at its peak. However the new management and deputy head teachers came in and flipped the school into a really good one. Props To Mr Lyon! since year 10 my experience has been great. Some covers my lack teaching however the school is determined for the school to get great grades."
"SSA is a very good school, the guidelines that it practices are something to be admired and followed. This school exposes and forces their students to embrace numerous opportunities, if followed correctly, setting you up with an arsenal of resources and key skills that are required in the workforce of the future. The teaching is good, the services are good, and the opportunities are plentiful. The negative comments given are by students who don't appreciate what the school is giving them, that is not to blame on the school for that ultimately comes down to the individual as a school can only motivate you so much and that it does! In all candor I would say that the only problem the school has, is wasting its time, efforts and resources on ignorant, arrogant and ultimately impertinent students. Time, effort and resources best served to the dedicated and open-minded students: the ones worth teaching."
