Shooters Hill Sixth Form College

"My son is doing BTEC Applied Science course here. His Physics teacher is a National and regional best teacher award winner in STEM in 2022 also he is an Astrophysicist .My son never understood Physics, but this Physics teacher made physics easy for him and he got all his Physics Units are Distinction. Recently this teacher has been suffering by some enormous stress and my son told me this teacher has been bullied by some head of department and his wh**e counterpart alliance. I am really shameful being as a white man and i wanted to support this teacher. Educators should be learn the severity of bullyness his knowledge and skills are imperative for our shooters hill community young generation. I decided to talk this matter with Head teacher or College Governors to support this gentleman. I am writing this review based on my son's views and my son everyday talking about this teacher and planets. I hope someone reading this take into right person support Dr before I do."

"To be honest my experience in shooters hill college was very disappointing and the most of the time they didn’t even know what they were doing at all eduction was disgraceful and also the food was horrible and that is not the worst thing they leave everything to the last minute also when there is a problem the staff do nothing at all and make the situation even worse than before I really don’t recommend this college to you people if you your son or daughter if you want them to have a fantastic education I recommend you to send them to another is not college shooters hill college"

We can happily say that Shooters Hill Campus are always adamant on hiring skilled staff that understand the ethos of the College. Fortunately we have been successful in placing people in various roles and have only ever heard great feedback. The students have a will to learn and succeed and the staff strive to help them achieve that at any costs. Shooters Hill Campus is a great place to work but more so a great place to study."

"I am very grateful to have attended Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus to study my A levels . It is one of the best decisions I've made.The campus provides useful facilities to aid students to achieve and perform to the best of their ability. This includes the library , quiet study rooms ,university students to help the pupils to improve their writing techniques and the HUB. Each pupil is treated with respect and their complaints and needs are taken into account . Staff there go out their way to ensure that students are fully prepared for their exams and all I can say is that I have never met so much motivated and fully dedicated teachers until I attended this school . (The Humanites Department staff) The staff were very helpful whenever there was a problem. At the start of each term students progress is monitored and revision classes are always arranged to improve. Also students are told what is expected of them/what they should aim to achieve each term. In experience I also understand that studying A levels or any other courses is not always easy as so much is expected .If it wasnt for the teachers there and their motivation I will not be where I am today at university because they taught me so much skills needed and essential at higher education. The food in the canteen is good and well prepared and fairly at a good price too.The campus is safe and security is there as well .Other excellent facilities includes tennis courts , swimming pool which students can use/learn how to swim, gym and basketball courts. I have also met some wonderful people there and everyone is friendly . If anyone is looking for a college to attend I would strongly recommend Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus ! A huge thank you to Lisa ,science and humanites department for taking your time to help us and I greatly appreciate it ."

"Vince Lombardi said that 'Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence' and it is to this philosophy that Shooters Hill operates to on a daily basis. The Campus provides its students with a motivating, and well equipped environment for learning. While its aesthetic appeal is somewhat to be desired, the Campus makes up for the shortcoming ten times over with its excellent teachers, support staff, and leadership team. The Campus employs a number of different support staff, in areas from administration, to learning support. In my experience these staff members have been helpful, friendly, sociable, and willing to support students in whatever way they can. Additionally, the Campus Leadership is outstanding and willing to help students, no matter how difficult that student may be, as are the teachers. Shooters Hill is privileged to employ a number of quintessential teachers, who are both engaging and energetic with the will and determination to help each student through their course. Throughout varies different educational institutions I was never so lucky in my teachers than I was at Shooters Hill, and it is without a doubt that I owe my current attendance at University to them. If you are considering attending the College, I strongly recommend it. Should you attend with an open mind, and the eagerness to learn the Campus can offer you a chance to succeed. Seize it."
