"worst school in lewisham wont even come on here and slander them but yeah that academy has no clue dont send your child their home school or public"
"M-M-Mid school. But being honest, bullying is barely taken seriously. This school lacks staff and the majority of the teachers left are cruel and disrespectful. The rules they enforce contradict what they do. The children are constantly getting into fights and -as I mentioned- bullying is very common and if reported there's barely anything done about it. Children with special needs are also bullied and harassed by both the children and occasionally the teachers see this but don't do anything. But, the school has some positive aspects. For example, the small majority of kind teachers seem to be the only saving grace. Those teachers are genuinely good, and may help with certain problems. In conclusion, It's ok. It would be better to choose a different school, especially for children with special needs or who are more sensitive."
"I only lasted one year at this school before I was taken out to be home tutored. I was physically and verbally bullied by a group of black girls in year 7, and as a white girl at the time, the teachers were too afraid to do anything about it due to coming across as racist. My parents threatened to take it higher but the school didn't care. Nobody really cared. I was coming home almost everyday in tears, smelling of different types of food. I had a phone stolen one time and another I had chewing gum stuck in my hair. Teachers were useless back in 2009 and judging by the rest of the reviews, are still useless now. This school quite literally ruined my life. If they would've done something about this group of girls who bullied me, my life would've turned out a lot different but oh well... Here we are! I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. This place may look perfect on the outside, but I assure you that on the inside, the teachers are afraid of confrontation and just want to brush issues under the carpet. Your child won't be safe here."
"My advice is to help others parents to research about this school performance before they enroll they children’s. Because is not about listening what parent said but the children’s go there, how they treat them, engaging, support in all aspect. Because any crazy teacher can abuse in your child and other workers can backup without knowing about real situation. They can’t communicate or respond emails within 24h, calls nobody is responsible, teachers are not aware of any decisions taking about your child. They can keep calling. Rubbish, bad organization and they are not reliable to educate or engage anyone."
"personally. I think this school is really good. the teachers are nice and respectful and they teach good life lesson. I went to this school for 4 years and its taught me a lot in life . I would definitely recommend"
