"Im writing this from my son's account. My son has went to this school for 2 years and never got a late. On Monday 22 January 2018 there was an incident where there was a shooting near Stratford. The bus didn't go, so my son walked to school. When he arrived 5 minutes late, he told the teacher the reason, but they said yeah we understand but you have still got a 20 minutes detention. I went with him to school, and explained, but they said it's the school policy and other people were in detention too for this incident. I don't get it, why would you give my son and other pupils a detention, when the incident wasn't their fault, and they tried their best to arrive at school as soon as possible? Very disgusted with this school."
"My daughter attended this school and unfortunately we had to take her out after 2 years, which of course upset my daughter as she made many friends. The reason for our decision, is the high turn over of teachers, 40 to be exact since her time at the school. She has been with out a maths, biology and chemistry teacher to name a few. As these lessons are fundamental and the school prides it self as being a science school it is unacceptable. I had meetings with the school but they have not been able to provide answers for the high staff turnover. There is obviously a problem with staff, whether it is down to management or low pay. I mention low pay as this school tends to take on teachers who are training, I get the feeling they leave once fully qualified. Either way its the children's education which suffer when their class are covered by supply teachers. I have written this review to red flag the problems in this school for other parents to address, there needs to be improvement as the children are our future."
