"School will damage children well-being and has heartless teachers i.e. Mr Hall, Miss Russell and Miss Pickard not a good example for the kids not the type of people you want to teach your children as they will without a doubt fail. Poor children and parents who are involved with Durand Academy they have no involement in the school. They are bullies and liars who will try to defame the character of parents and children which is unlawful. I can never forget the hard time Durand Academy and those horrid teachers named above put myself and young son through. They have really effected myself and son I still have restless nights because off the suffering they were deliberately putting us through whilst enjoying imposing and watching the sufferation and misery they were impacting us. As I am single young mother I believe my son and I was being targeted by Durand academy teachers Mr Hall, Miss Russell and Miss Pickard because of my situation being single i feel discriminated against. They bullied my son to the point I did not comfortable to leave my son in a place where is supposed to be safe as it did not feel safe for him. It got to the point he was afraid to go everyday they isolated him from his peers as if he was a dangerous child. He missed P.E. swimming, trips, proformances, sports days, eating lunch with peers etc they treated him like a prisoner in his own school ad soon as he walked through those school gates it was like lock down for him a child aged 7. This effected my job also as I had to address what was happening at my son school as he was silently suffering and he needed the support as he was falling in to anixety the child was stressed and it never seemed to be going no where they just wanted a child to punish for no reason and my son was the go to prime victim for them which he didn't know how to handle this situation so just had to deal with these adults who were supposed to protect him. Because of this I did not feel confident leaving him at school now as this was becoming serious and dangerous for my child well-being. Not having anywhere to leave my son to go work made me lose my job and almost my home as this predicament was getting worse by the day with the school and him it was actually ridiculous. And i had no idea were to turn to get my help and advise. I call my local council and spoke to the education department for primary school whom didn't or couldn't assist me and my son. Not a supportive school I am working with my son to reverse all the damage they caused ony son a vulnerable child. Because off the way they treated him it was becoming normal for him not to have play time or be outcasted, isolated, removed from his class for no justifiable reason. For me to write all about Durand I would need a least a month as I could write a book about the culture, still atmosphere and unjustly way of educating. Bias school which expect all families and children to comform to Durands expectations and if not possible they target, pick at anything and bully a child. they do this to whom they believe fall into the victim criteria so the weakest families who may not have as much support as others. Single mothers predominantly ones with sons as they know they are most likely to have alot already on there hands and needs the extra support but cannot recived it. This type of behaviour towards these families can have a detrimental effect on the child as well as parents on so many different levels. It's been almost a year I've moved my son to a new school and the positivity seen in his learning, behaviour, self-esteem, confidence and even just his attitude going to school has changed dramatically for the better. I would not recommend Durand and happy it has been taking over as Durand academy has been getting away with destroying the education for their pupils for too long and this whole procedure was over due and the damages has been done. But the greatest thing is they have now been caught upon and the pupils and parents can move on for a better future in the new school named Van Gogh."
"This is absurd. I did not expect this to happen."
"Very nice school nice environment good healthy food for children's also have free swimming facilities very pleased"
"I am now in year 6 and since I started to go to the school from nursery it has been an amazing experience, I definitely recommend you to send your child/children here, if you want the best education for your children."
"Teachers really care about the children. My 4 yr old is brilliant with his alphabet both written & oral. The same for his counting. We took our oldest out of a catholic school to attend here and will be going to the Durand boarding school. Really happy with our school choice!"
