Nursery and Preschool Wimbledon | Fennies Nursery

"We have been at Fennies Wimbledon since its opening 4 years ago and previously were highly recommending this place. Sadly, we cannot do that anymore. The room staff is generally very kind and caring but also stretched for too long. In numerous occasions we were asked to keep our little one at home on the same morning due to staffing issues or we have been denied the service due to errors on the child's assessment (deemed by nursery unwell but seemed normal and proven to be fine by GP). You would expect that a childcare service is reliable and considerate towards parents commitments and the child' s day, so not sure if this is due to low staffing/poor training/poor policies/poor implementation. Worryingly, we had only 4-5 inputs in the last two months in the journal system called Tapestry for our child's day and activities and no formal updates on development. We have communicated our concerns directly with no improvement so far."

"Choosing Fennies Wimbledon for our baby boy was probably one of the best decisions we have made since becoming parents. The facilities are outstanding, the management very responsive and the staff are just all you could ever ask from someone who is going to spend so many hours with your child: friendly, caring and professional. The freshly cooked meals offered to the kids are varied and nutricios. We are grateful for how much care and love they have always showed towards our son. He loves going to nursery! I would recommend Fennis Wimbledon to all parents in the area."

"Fennies Wimbledon has been such a fantastic experience for our family. With our daughter joining during the COVID-19 pandemic we were concerned she would struggle to settle but the team made the process so smooth and her key worker in particular forged a strong relationship with her very quickly. Now almost five months in, she has such a great time there and even asks to go in her days off. We’ve been so impressed with the professionalism of staff, the communication with parents and the varied activities for the children. Most of all though the genuine love and care shown to our daughter has meant we have total peace of mind sending her in each day. We would highly recommend."

"Really recommend Fennies Wimbledon. My son started there when he was 10 months old and is now nearly 2.5 years. The staff are excellent and in particular have been fantastic through the pandemic. The nursery itself is very clean with great facilities including a lovely outdoor garden. Highly recommend."

"I am so very impressed with Fennies in Wimbledon. I have found all the staff very personable who are willing to go the extra mile to make certain my son is happy. The nursery is immaculate and newly equipped and provides a nurturing environment for my five month old. There are excellent safe guarding procedures in place and it is obvious staff have been well trained. One highlight is the weekly report detailing the development of my son. Overall I feel that this is an Outstanding nursery and would highly recommend it."
