"I personally as a student think this needs to be said, This school lacks basic teaching skills and lies to parents about their children and their behaviour and I feel sorry for the kids who's parents have been manipulated by such (i wish to not say) that their bad people and that's what drives kids to such insanity so don't be surprised cca.It was better when Alex was head Mrs jeans lacks social skills and stays in her office or sometimes she's not doing her job until she was busted for not contributing in helping the new generation instead of teaching she forces children to stay outside even when there's a huge storm called storm malik going on. If your telling me she's not sick in the head then your pure blind. Mrs Jeanes needs to go and never come back."
"I just started in this school and i absolutely love it, the people i have met are amazing and now were as close as peanut butter and jelly, the teachers are kind if u be kind to them the food is delicious and i think more people should join this school"
"As a past member of support staff at Capital City Academy I can honestly say that the passion and commitment of the staff is second to none. I felt extremely supported throughout my time working at the Academy and was given the opportunity to get involved in some fantastic opportunities being more involved with the students including taking part in two World Challenge expeditions to Uganda and Swaziland. I also worked closely with the Parents' Forum who worked tirelessly to support the Academy and give parents a voice. I am lucky enough to still be involved with Capital; it is a fantastic school. I would recommend any prospective parent or student to visit the school and see for themselves first hand. Here is a snippet from a recent email from a current Year 10 parent. I think it sums up perfectly the supportive and dedicated nature of the staff at Capital - "I had the pleasure of talking to Miss Maaroof who took time and interest in all my questions. I would like to say that it has been a long time since I have met a teacher who was so supportive and so kind. She is willing to give her time and already told her students about next year's revision. I hope that Miss Maaroof will stay for a longtime.""
"This school is one of the worst schools in London. It's not surprising actually considering the attitudes of most of the staff. The staff are just as rude and unfriendly as the children. The heads of years approach to the children's behaviour is extremely poor. Hence the reason that the behaviour is so bad. It is not advisable to work here, They treat day to day and agency workers like rubbish and like to remind them of how disposable they are. This school has a lot of work to do."
"I have only positive comments to share about Capital City Academy. My son is currently in Year 7 and he has had a fantastic year. He has settled well and formed many positive relationships with both students and staff at the school. There is a friendly Parent Forum which works with the staff to fundraise and support at events that take place at the school. This has also helped me to feel like I am part of CCA. There is generally a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the school and all staff members, including the Principle – Alex Thomas are approachable. This has made it easier for me to share any concerns that I have had and feel confident that something will be done about it. My son is happy to go to school each day and has enjoyed being part of many events that have taken place throughout his first year at the school. Like any other parent, I was concerned about my child making the transition from a small primary to large secondary school. However, this has been very successful and he has made good progress in all areas of learning and development. I am proud to say my son goes to Capital City Academy and would most definitely recommend the school to other parents."
