"I was fortunate enough to be able to work with the children and teachers at Norbury. The children proved to be pationate about their learning and the teachers created a positive learning environment. Overall an excellent, forward thinking school."
"My son was here in year 1 and 2... He has a lot of very bad experiences... He was a very happy kid until he started the school at Norbury... In Norbury Harrow Primary School he develop anxiety because he was bullied and he was forced to fight by other groups from his class in every break. They were fighting behind the " Pirate Ship" . At that moment the stuff did not supervised properly the kids(I don't know how is now). My son was always purple because of the fights, he always eat his nails because of the stress and he had seriously breath problem because of anxiety. I had many meetings with the headteacher and her stuff and I've seen that they are very organised and that they cover each other. I would like to mention just one episode from my experience with the stuff: My son said that one teacher put them one of The Simpsons episode and he wanted to start to watch The Simpsons at home. I did not accepted that because The Simpson cartoon is not suitable for 7 years old just for +12 years old. When we had the meeting with the head teacher and the other teacher they said that my son is lying and that I can't proof, even if some of his colleagues had the courage and they said that Yes, they saw one episode with The Simpsons! Another problem was that in year one his teacher hit my sons head with a book because he didn't do his homework... With that teacher I've solve the problem by telling her that if one time she touch my child I will call the police. Another bad experience was that in "Golden time" the kids are painting or draw, and my son draw a card for his aunt because was her birthday and he wanted to finish his draw even if the teacher said that "Is time to go home" and because my son didn't go in that moment to the que for going home she decided to through to the bin his draw, and he start crying and be very frustrated because she punished him like that. If you really care about your kids education choose and make a lot of research to choose a good school. I moved my son from this school and now he is a happy child in another outstanding school without any bad experiences!"
"I hope norbury sees this: I used to go two years ago, and lets say it was the most horrible primary school. They CHEAT on SATs, then congratulate kids for being in top 10, when your like well nah because you told us the answers, the head has issues and fires teachers everyday, plus, the food is horrible now they want to be healthy, but they will be closed down anyway so why bother. Shame on you norbury."
"have you talked to the head teacher? all she wants is money, her shoes look like they cost a lot,and when you need your inhaler the assistant head goes like sorry you cant take it now go back! literally this school does not even deserve a 1 star, that is why i left, also a lot of bullying! this picture is help for everyone in that school you can leave! rubish just rubish"
"Love this school. Friendly staff, my child is happy to go there"
