"The Raleigh is one of the best schols in the area. A strong head and committed teachers have led to an outstanding ofsted resport. The grounds/school hall are too small so rebuilding would be good. Also SATS is slightly pressurised but results are outstanding."
"Our son spent a miserable few years at this school. He was bullied and also intimidated by the teachers for being an August born left handed boy (look at this girl's work. This is the standard you should be at). Admittedly, this was a few years ago but the same head teacher is still in place. Our daughter achieved more but she is September born. I think the bottom line Is, as long as your child is reasonably high achieving, the school is OK but if your child needs extra help, the school is not interested."
"My son is leaving this year after a delightful 7 years at this wonderful years. The teachers are kind and caring, the education is far superior here than many schools and is lead by a strong, passionate Headteacher and supportive enthusiastic team of teaching and support staff. Children are happy, motivated and enjoy learning. Ive been part of the PSA which holds amazing events for children and parents and there is real sense of community here. Results matter and are achieved, but not at cost to a child's overall happiness. The children are encouraged to be the best they can be and all shine through with individual strengths that are nurtured and encouraged. This really is a wonderful community school, and children thrive and grow here. Don't take my word for it - book a tour with the Headteacher and see for yourself."
"This school is the worst school any parent should choose there child to go to as of the teachers and the head. Who does nothing in her office I am horrified at the teaching and I think Ofsted need to close this shocker of a school down. This why I rate the Raleigh a star. So bad!!!"
"I visited your school for the 2nd year running on 8 January to give a presentation about my adventures rowing across the Atlantic ocean and visiting Magnetic and Geographic North Poles. I had a wonderful day both times. The pupils are a delight. Polite, passionate and full of wonderful questions, I left your school as inspired by them as I hope they were by me. I truly feel, with young people like these, the future of our country is in good hands. The following day I received some wonderful letters of appreciation, innovative and full of joy; a huge bonus to me. I also know that children's zeal and eagerness to learn comes from enthusiastic teachers who truly care, so you can be justifiably proud of your school."
