Danson Aunties Pre School

"My son started here about 9 months ago and he's progress has been amazing. He attended speech therapy and he has a awful time with it I found him being at preschool around other children has improved he's speech much better. He wakes up every morning so excited about going to aunties. Would high recommend to anyone."

"I cant rate this preschool highly enough. Having viewed over 10 preschools and nurseries in my area, i opted for one nearer to home which i initially liked. My daughter hated it! She would sob her heart out the whole entire time she was there (2 weeks in total and she would uncontrollably sob the whole jounrney there) and i never felt comfortable with how she was being cared for when upset. I went to view danson aunties and fell in love with it straight away. The staff are really welcoming and have that homely feel. I love the fact that they are all older ladies - having had their own children already and quite possibly some have grandchildren already. These ladies are experienced through personal experience and not silly, naive young girls who have learnt from a book and dont actually have a clue how to communicate, understand and interact with children properly. I explained my little girls issues to the staff and they made me feel soo comfortable that i was happy to leave her there... My little girl has been there nearly 4 months and has not got upset once!!!! She gets soooo excited EVERY single morning when she knows its a preschool day. She runs in the door at every single session!! She talks positively about all of the staff and the other children. She absolutly loves it there. She comes home happy every single day and always brings home drawings or paintings that she has done that day. I really love this place and my princess does too. I just wish they did afternoon/full sessions too."

"I took my daughter out of this Nursery for a few reasons... Yes the 'Aunties' are smiley nice women, but they are all old and all you hear them talk about is other parents privet lives, which is very unprofessional. Also calling your teachers Aunties has proven very difficult to understand for my child since leaving, now she doesn't know the difference of a teacher or an auntie. My daughter has come out of the nursery wearing the same nappy she wore going in, which was soaked, my reply when I confronted them about this was 'not all nursery's change nappies,' which I was horrified at as that in my opinion is neglect. she also came out in other children's clothing when I had provided spares, which i personally find very unhygienic. they also have the nerve to report your child for looking scruffy, when they walk in the nursery clean as a whistle and come out looking like a tornado victim, but that's your fault not there's. so my opinion of this nursery is unprofessional, neglectful, liars and you should not trust your children with this nursery"
