Reviews of The Pickford Nursery
"I couldn't recommend this Nursery enough, We send both our girls there one whom is three years old and absolutely loves it there. All the staff are very kind, caring and considerate. My 13 month old has been going there for 3 Weeks now. The staff have gone out of their way to keep me updated on how she's been getting on throughout the day which really has helped me feel at ease. I sent a message out of Nursery hours and got a response back from a member of staff which shows how dedicated they are and how much they truly care about the parents and children. I honestly couldn't thank them enough for all that they do."
"Our son has been going to the Pickford Nursery for about 8 weeks now, he took a little while to settle but absolutely loves it now. Nina and Laura have been so kind and informative whilst he settled, sending me pictures and updates of how’s he is doing.. even calling to check up on me one morning when I left in tears after leaving Tommy crying at the door! I love the Famly app that the nursery use so you can keep track of the food eaten and naps time etc. It is such a lovely setting and made brilliant by the staff. So happy our son goes here."
"I can not praise this Nursery setting enough, We removed our son from his prior nursery setting as the care was appalling, The Pickford Nursery helped to reassure us and our son who now absolutely loves going to nursery. Our little boy has learnt so much in the time that he has been with The Pickford Nursery! The team here are really consistent with everything from daily updates on what our son has been doing and eating to their accident reporting processes. we really couldn't ask for a better setting. Not to mention how modern and clean the setting is! Thank you so much to the lovely team we appreciate you!"
"I would say, an outstanding organization, with an effective communication program. The Pickford Nursery makes the most from the use of the technology. By using the app, they always keep both parents up top date, they share the highlights of the Childs and they record/monitor their progress. I couldn't ask more. Top Team Recommended"
"I don’t know where to start from but to summarise, Pickford Nursery is in shambles, and you should read my review and feel free to contact me for further details before sending your child to this nursery. My child attended the nursery for a few months, and it has been an extremely bad experience for us. We were given access to a portal which never worked after the first couple of days. This meant that we were never made aware of any progress of our child. Please note that the management did NOT send any invoice. The only invoice sent was paid immediately and that invoice was also sent after contacting the nursery at least twice We had issues with the nursery and we made a complaint to the management . A week after our complaint, my child was made to leave the nursery even though I paid the invoice within 12 hours of receiving the invoice, citing delay in paying the invoice (with no invoice sent earlier). The sadistic approach of the management was to call me when my child was in the nursery and ask to pick my child with a view to punish me for raising any concerns against the nursery. They don’t want any parents with any complaints to be a part of the nursery so that they can prove to Ofsted that they have only parents who are extremely satisfied to avoid the poor rating they deserve. There is hardly any development for the child. The manager is extremely incompetent and will come across with every possible lie including shouting when you question the nursery. The culture of incompetence stems from their senior management led by a lady who will blame her ineptitude to her lack of information about either what the accounts do or the Nursery team does. Most of the nursery’s communication will be over the phone to avoid any written proof. They will give you false promises when your child joins the nursery so pelase do not believe anything they say and always get written confirmation. I would advise you to have a look at the toys and development tools used by the nursery which are worn, badly used and in a poor condition. The nursery not only has an incompetent senior management but also an impulsive manager and this obviously reflects in the well being and development of children. The nursery lacks any structure in developing children because of their internal conflicts. There is a complete lack of co ordination between the management , accounts and the Nursery Manager. I would sincerely advise you to get in touch with me before taking a decision of sending your child to this nursery so that I can share my experience in detail along with the juvenile responses to my emails sent by Pickford nursery."
